Announcing the Inaugural Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza Poker Tournament
Up to $35,000 worth of prize packages will be awarded at the Inaugural Venetian Deep Stack Charity Classic Poker Tournament to be held at The Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room on Sunday, June 7 at 1 p.m., benefiting C.B.T. and its affiliated charities. NBA superstar and hometown hero Vince Carter of the New Jersey Nets will be participating as a celebrity player and in a pre-tournament meet and greet. Organizers believe that this satellite Texas Hold Em poker tournament will be the largest charity poker event in Central Florida history.
Up to five outstanding prize packages will be awarded. The first place prize valued at approximately $8,500 includes a $5,000 seat at The Venetian's Deep Stack Extravaganza III Main Event on July 13 at The Venetian Las Vegas. Second through fifth place prizes are valued at approximately $5,500 including entry into The Venetian Poker Room’s Deep Stack Extravaganza III $2,100 event held on June 26. Every package winner will receive round trip airfare for two, exclusive limousine transportation, and $1,000 in food and beverage credit valid at all of The Venetian’s fine dining restaurants. Last year’s Main Event paid approximately $1,000,000 with first place $251,000.
Registration opens on May 1, 2009. Advanced discounted tickets for this no limit tournament are $140 and will be available at the DB Kennel Club and Poker Room or a check may be sent to C.B.T. at the address below.
